Fiscal 2010 Foreign Military Sales (Australia); fiscal 2023 research, development, test, and evaluation, Army; fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement, Army; and 2024 operation and maintenance, Army funds in the amount of $17,661,515 were obligated at the time of the award.
General Dynamics won a $10.3 million modification for lead yard support and development studies and design efforts related to Virginia Class submarines. Work will be performed in the continental US and is expected to be completed by August 2025.

Israel could buy the two US Army-owned Iron Dome defense batteries sent to the country when the current lease comes to an end next year, Army acquisition chief Doug Bush told reporters in a November 7 briefing. The US is sending its two Iron Dome batteries to Israel to bolster the 10 it already has as Israel continues to fight Hamas. MBDA UK has inked a $4.89 billion transfer of technology deal to accelerate Poland’s NAREW air defense program. NAREW seeks a next-generation mobile defense system to intercept advanced and future airborne threats beyond 40 kilometers. For the agreement, MBDA will relay critical technologies and knowledge to the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ).
The Ukrainian government is overhauling the delivery of weapons and equipment to the frontline as troops battle exhaustion after 20 months of war. The country’s defense ministry said the revamp aims to shorten the time vital weapons are handed over to soldiers in combat.
