After already delaying its ad account review decision by six months, AdAge reports that the U.S. Army has cancelled the $200 million review after all. The Army informed the pitching agencies today of the decision by fax. It indicated the review would be re-solicited from scratch. The optimistic agencies involved in the attempt to take the account from a well-ensconced Leo Burnett incumbent were McCann Erickson, Y&R, O&M, Grey and BBDO.
