$6.8M for Six 3 for Intel Fusion in Iraq

In September 2011, Six 3 Systems in McLean, VA received a $6.8 million firm-fixed-price contract for “the single-source fusion center effort”, supporting the overall mission in Iraq. Work will be performed in Iraq, with an estimated completion date of Sept 13/12. The bid was solicited through the Internet, with 11 bids received by the U.S. Army Contracting Command in Rock Island, IL (W560MY-11-C-0006). Six 3 is one of several specialty intelligence/tech firms that have prospered up in recent years. They provide a range of services, from biometrics expertise and implementation; to help with standard functions like signals interception and geospatial intelligence; to social media use, web portals, and information fusion efforts. In December 2010, they were 1 of 3 contractors made eligible for a total of $475 million in task orders over up to 3 years, under the Intelligence Support Services – Afghanistan (ISS-A) umbrella contract.
